Job Summary
Sales Associate position at Five Below focused on delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, understanding and meeting customer needs with product knowledge, suggestive selling, promoting store events and promotions, resolving customer concerns, communicating needs to management, and supporting team goals. Must be able to operate a cash register and handle merchandise movement, work a flexible schedule including weekends/evenings/overnight shifts as needed, and learn store procedures. Candidate should be comfortable with technology and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills suitable for a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training
