Job Summary
Part-time Sales Associate at Five Below responsible for greeting and assisting customers, sharing product knowledge, and driving sales through suggestive selling. Responsibilities include informing customers about events and promotions, resolving customer concerns and turning returns into exchanges when possible, communicating needs to management, restocking and keeping the floor well-stocked, and ensuring smooth checkout experiences. Must operate the cash register, merchandise handling up to 25 lbs, and navigate stockroom duties; requires flexibility in scheduling including weekends and possible overnight shifts; must engage customers professionally and leverage on-the-job training to learn procedures. Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with technology (cash registers, handheld and mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training
- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Frequently operate cash register; Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs; Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve stock; Must be able to exchange accurate information in customer interactions; Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day/evening/weekends/overnight shifts and travel as required
