Job Summary
Sales Associate at Five Below responsible for greeting customers, assessing needs, offering product recommendations, and driving sales while delivering friendly service. Responsibilities include engaging customers, communicating store promotions, resolving issues to turn returns into exchanges, notifying management about restocking needs and feedback, and collaborating with the team to meet store objectives. Must be able to operate the cash register, handle merchandise up to 25 lbs, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain flexible day/evening/weekend shifts. Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training
- Frequently operate cash register
- Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Frequent ladder use for stock retrieval and placement
- Ability to travel on a flexible schedule as required
