Job Summary
Five Below is hiring part-time Sales Associates to deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales, keep merchandise organized, and ensure a seamless checkout experience. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, understanding their needs, suggesting products, informing customers about promotions, resolving issues to turn returns into exchanges, communicating merchandise needs to management, and collaborating with the team to meet store goals. The role requires frequent cash register operation, stock handling up to 25 lbs and items up to 5-10 feet high, occasional ladder use, mobility around the sales floor and stockroom, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts. Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training
