Job Summary
Conduct expert product training on fishing gear and local trends to guide shoppers toward their perfect buying decisions. Hit personal sales goals by explaining the benefits of the Scheels Visa Rewards card and promotions while maintaining a fully stocked shop floor. Attend bi-weekly product knowledge sessions and manage opening and closing shifts, including weekend coverage, to deliver an above-and-beyond experience. This long-term part-time role offers an average of 15-20 hours per week with a base wage averaging $20.00 per hour plus commission.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or GED)
- 1–3 months of related experience
- Basic math skills
- Communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Comfortable standing, walking, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 lbs
- Minimum of every other weekend availability (Saturdays between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Sundays 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
