Job Summary
Greet customers, offer assistance, and process transactions accurately at the point of sale while maintaining an organized register area. Promote company programs such as loyalty and credit initiatives, and support inventory processes including stocking merchandise and replenishing supplies. Assist with daily store operations like register balancing and supply management, and train new team members on service standards and procedures. Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and operational standards while working collaboratively with the team. This role requires at least six months to one year of retail experience, flexible availability including weekends and holidays, and is located in Staten Island, New York.
Required Qualifications
- at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a retail, cashier, customer service, or other customer-facing role
- Experience operating a point-of-sale (POS) system and handling cash and credit card transactions
- Experience assisting customers, resolving customer inquiries, stocking merchandise, and working in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be dependable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
