Job Summary
Greet and assist customers, operate cash registers to process transactions, and manage merchandise by stocking, rotating, and building displays. Maintain a clean store environment through dusting, mopping, trash removal, and restroom/stockroom cleaning. Open and close the store under Store Manager direction, assist in planogram implementation, and perform additional duties typically assigned to Store Managers or Assistant Store Managers. Requires high school diploma, six months of supervisory experience, and ability to drive for bank deposits. Starting pay is $16.00–$16.25. Located in a fast-paced retail setting with frequent physical activity.
Required Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Understanding of safety policies and practices
- Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Ability to perform cash register functions
- Knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies and practices
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience
