Job Summary
The Sales Associate supports the daily operations of a retail resale store, assisting customers and donors, operating the POS system, maintaining floor inventory and displays, assisting with donation intake, and completing tasks assigned by the Store Manager. Provides direction to volunteers in the absence of shop leadership, delivers customer service, processes donations, supports retailer campaigns and social media content, and communicates the mission of the American Cancer Society to customers and donors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred Degree: Some college, including basic courses in business, mathematics, and economics is a plus
- Years of experience: 2 years prior retail/service experience
- Some leadership experience a plus (i.e. key holder, lead or above.)
- Driver’s License Requirement(s): Valid driver’s license not required but is a plus.
