Job Summary
Greet customers in a friendly manner, process all sales quickly and accurately using the POS system, and make change properly. Insure all items are properly stocked, priced correctly, and rotated with code dates while maintaining proper temperature controls for food safety. Check in vendor deliveries, assist in ordering, and perform simple maintenance on equipment. Keep the store neat and clean inside and outside, sanitize all surfaces, and report any problems to management. Arrive at work in a clean uniform with regular and consistent attendance, ready to work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work the POS system efficiently
- Ability to read, write and perform math skills
- Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Must be well groomed and properly attired
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed
- Must have reliable transportation and phone
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
- Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must frequently walk
- Must use hands and fingers
- Must handle or feel
- Must reach with hands and arms
- Must talk and hear
- Must occasionally sit
- Must occasionally climb or balance
- Must occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
