Job Summary
Greet customers in a friendly manner, process sales quickly and accurately using the POS system, and make change properly. Insure all items are properly stocked, priced correctly, and rotated with code dates while maintaining proper temperature controls for food safety. Check in vendor deliveries, assist with ordering, and clean and sanitize equipment to keep the store neat inside and outside. Report any problems to management and adhere to all food handling guidelines to meet state and federal regulations. Arrive in a clean uniform, understand fuel inventory reports, and work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work the POS system efficiently
- Ability to read, write and perform math skills
- Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Must be well groomed and properly attired
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed
- Must have reliable transportation and phone
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
- Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must frequently walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear
- Must occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Desired Qualifications
- Retail or guest service experience preferred
