Job Summary
Certified Color Consultant drives hair color sales by delivering personalized color consultations, building customer relationships, and processing transactions while maintaining store standards. The role focuses on delivering an optimal customer experience, introducing the Hair Color category, offering professional color advice, supporting team training, and participating in loss prevention and safety practices. Responsibilities include advising customers on color and care, meeting or exceeding color sales goals, recording sales in POS, handling monetary transactions, completing daily paperwork, assisting with stock and planograms, and staying current on trends and product knowledge. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years of age, strong communication, retail experience, and the ability to work with iPad and social media tools; part-time schedule with opportunities for growth and benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1+ year retail sales/customer service experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear, concise manner
- Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business
- Ability to execute product knowledge from training to support with customer service
- Ability to explain product labels
- Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager
- Comprehensive knowledge of iPad and navigation of the internet and social media platforms
- Ability to present a professional image and interact positively with the public
