Job Summary
As a Sales Associate, responsibilities include providing prompt and courteous service to customers, adhering to company policies, maintaining store cleanliness, managing inventory, and following safety regulations. The role involves tracking sales, preparing shift reports, securing cash, stocking shelves, operating electronic cash registers, and maintaining equipment. Associates must be available to work scheduled and occasional unscheduled shifts with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to converse and understand English at the eighth-grade level
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level
- Ability to move up to 55 pounds
- Ability to react to fire using a 20-pound extinguisher
- Ability to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
- Ability to clean gas pumps and other areas around the store
- Ability to work in a cooler at 34 degrees and a freezer at -20 degrees
