Job Summary
Sales Associate (Budtender) at Garden of Eden in Hayward, CA. Provide a consultative, education-driven sales experience in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment. Responsibilities include recommending products based on customer needs, executing compliant POS transactions with cash handling, restocking and organizing inventory, labeling barcodes, assisting with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks, maintaining product knowledge, and supporting daily store operations. Must be 21+ and able to pass Live Scan/background checks; prior retail or customer service experience preferred; cannabis dispensary or Treez POS experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21+ years old
- Must be able to pass Live Scan background check and meet all state cannabis employment requirements
- 1+ year retail or customer service experience
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Team-oriented mindset with a with a strong sense of accountability and willingness to support both sales floor and operational tasks
