Job Summary

Oversee daily business operations by scheduling, staffing, and optimizing workflow while supporting the Store Manager. Deliver legendary customer service through effective interactions, promoting financing options, resolving complaints, and achieving high call conversion rates. Listen to customer needs to provide knowledgeable advice on automotive repairs, identify upsell opportunities, and recommend additional services to increase revenue. Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely appointments, process service orders and payments, and maintain accurate customer records in the database. Manage inventory levels, control business costs, and analyze key performance indicators to track shop progress. Fulfill opening and closing procedures, including nightly deposits and security protocols, while enforcing safety policies and OSHA regulations. Conduct test drives in compliance with company policy and traffic laws, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with senior management to execute business plans and foster a cohesive team culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement of eighteen years
  • An active and unrestricted driver's license
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior industry knowledge and/or experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work within the United States while employed by Leeds West Groups
  • Successful completion of background check
  • Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and ability to maintain a clean driving record

  • Ability to schedule service appointments based on availability, service requirements, optimal workflow, and maximum profitability
  • Ability to follow up with customers to confirm appointments, remind them of upcoming service appointments, and address any scheduling changes or conflicts
  • Ability to maintain accurate customer records, service histories, and appointment schedules in the company's database or management system
  • Ability to process service orders, invoices, and payments accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to ensure all services are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company, safety, and industry standards
  • Ability to assist in analyzing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track shop performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Ability to assist with controlling inventory levels, inventory shrinkages, business costs, and expenses, responsible use of P-Card, payroll management, injury and damage claims, and more to support business objectives and budgets
  • Ability to act as a key holder for the facility and successfully fulfill opening and closing procedures, including but not limited to nightly deposits, system close-out procedures, responding to alarms and security concerns after hours, and more
  • Ability to assist with analyzing, reducing, and minimizing workplace safety concerns, injuries, and damages through training, enforcement, and team compliance with OSHA and company safety policies, procedures, and industry best practices
  • Ability to ensure test drives are conducted correctly and in accordance with company policy, procedures, safety best practices, and traffic laws
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations
  • Ability to stay current on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes affecting automotive repair and safety
  • Ability to collaborate with the Store Manager and senior management to develop and execute business plans, directives, initiatives, programs, budgets, and more
  • Ability to support Store Manager to foster a strong, inclusive, and cohesive team environment and culture to effectively value and develop employees, exceed business goals and provide legendary customer service
  • Ability to adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for drugs, alcohol, weapons, violence, harassment, or discrimination
  • Ability to conduct themselves positively, respectfully, ethically, and professionally
  • Ability to comply with OSHA safe workplace standards
  • Ability to wear and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to adhere to uniform standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive retail and repair environment where employees are regularly exposed to indoor and outdoor climates and changing temperatures, automotive tools, equipment, fluids, and chemicals
  • Ability to work long hours and frequent weekend work
  • Ability to travel up to 50% between local stores
  • Ability to work Monday through Saturday and Sunday at various locations
  • Ability to work various hours of operation and days of work as dictated by business needs and location
