Job Summary
Sales Associate at Apartments.com engages in business development by prospecting new clients and growing existing accounts with digital marketing solutions for the multifamily housing sector. You will conduct in-person client visits and deliver sales presentations to advise on marketing options, build and maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor to their marketing plans, and identify upsell and renewal opportunities using market data. The role requires outside B2B sales experience, a valid driver’s license, and a bachelor’s degree; it includes training to develop product and industry knowledge and opportunities to advance in digital marketing and sales.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of outside sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in digital marketing or advertising sales; or equivalent experience in the Multifamily industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas in a consultative sales environment
- A track record of commitment to prior employers
- Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license
- Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start
- Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws
- Ability to regularly drive for extended periods and intermittently throughout the workday
- Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college or university
