Job Summary
Provide professional and courteous service to all customers inside, outside, and on the phone. Assure merchandise is placed on the sales floor in a timely manner and keep floor items neat and orderly. Ring items accurately, demonstrate precise cash handling skills, and maintain a clean register area. Maintain an orderly and clean environment through general housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Perform other duties as assigned by management while standing for prolonged periods up to seven hours per shift.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and GGW associates
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to all of our customers
- Ability to settle customer complaints
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 7 hours per 8-hour shift)
- Ability to bend and lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- Basic working knowledge of computer applications and the internet
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of six months of previous work experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a retail environment
- Excellent customer service related skills
- Working knowledge of a cash register
- Multilingual with complete fluency in English
