Job Summary
Greet every customer with personalized assistance to ensure a positive store experience. Assist in setting up and breaking down seasonal displays while regularly organizing merchandise presentation. Build customer loyalty through suggestive selling and maintain knowledge of current products. Perform weekly physical inventory counts and handle all register transactions to maintain accurate stock levels. Work in a safe manner using two-way radios, hand tools, and other store equipment. Stand for extended periods and lift up to 100lbs occasionally. This role supports HouseMart's mission by keeping stores clean, organized, and shoppable for shoppers.
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- General knowledge and experience with computer systems and two-way radios
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 60lbs of material, in addition to lifting and maneuvering up to 100lbs. using a hand truck, on occasion
- Flexible Schedule: Willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs (Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays included)
Desired Qualifications
- Customer Service, Retail, and Cash Handling experience preferred
