Job Summary
Unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise as arranged by management. Maintain your assigned department by keeping it clean, organized, and fully stocked. Execute daily operational goals and priorities while removing promotional bin tags and restocking displays, including monitoring end caps and side wings. Handle special orders for non-stock items and respond to radio requests. Watch for shoplifters and act in line with policy to discourage theft. Communicate professionally with customers and team members, providing prompt, friendly service. Never refuse a customer without checking with a manager. Train others and learn all store areas. Maintain flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience
- A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance
- Availability must be flexible, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- hardware experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience of various departments is strongly desired
- Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred
