Provide prompt, courteous customer service by discovering guest needs and ring up all sales on cash register or point-of-sale equipment using suggestive selling techniques. Safeguard cash and merchandise by following robbery prevention procedures and ensuring proper cash handling. Maintain store cleanliness, including gas island safety and stock levels, while adhering to food safety behaviors and restricted beverage and tobacco sales policies. Perform service transactions for lottery sales, vendor coupons, and credit cards; maintain merchandise rotation, storage, and pricing; and receive products from vendors. React to customer complaints tactfully, report safety hazards, and complete required paperwork accurately. Maintain a professional appearance and perform other duties as assigned.
