Job Summary
Greet customers and donors with prompt, courteous assistance to meet their needs. Stock priced items on the sales floor, receive and unload incoming inventory, and separate donated materials into proper containers. Maintain store and donation area cleanliness, inspect products for defects, and follow all POS and cash register policies. Perform assigned cleaning duties, assist donors in removing items from vehicles, and attend monthly store meetings. Ensure safety and compliance standards are met while handling physical demands including lifting up to 50lbs. Work flexible shifts seven days a week to ensure adequate store coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions
- Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers and donors
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be flexible to always ensure adequate store coverage
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
