Job Summary
Sales Assistant based in Skipton responsible for serving customers on the trade counter with product recommendations, responding to enquiries via phone and email, proactively building relationships to drive branch sales (focus on customers with reduced or inactive spending), and assisting with general warehouse duties including picking/packing and handling heavy items such as boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets, while maintaining high branch standards and working a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri 07:30-17:00; Sat rota 08:00-12:00).
Required Qualifications
- Face to Face customer service and sales experience is essential
- Warehouse experience would be ideal
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Proactive and eager to learn
