Sales Assistant

Sales Assistant at the Gloucester Plumb Centre (Wolseley UK) performing front-line trade counter sales, advising customers on product needs and making recommendations, handling phone and email inquiries, proactively contacting customers to boost branch sales, assisting with warehouse tasks (picking/packing, unpacking deliveries, heavy-item handling such as boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets), ensuring high branch standards, and working a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri 07:30–17:00 with occasional Sat 08:00–12:00). The role requires prior face-to-face customer service/sales experience, teamwork, and a proactive, eager-to-learn attitude.
