Job Summary
Sales Assistant Video Entertainment role supporting the VE Sales team at the South African Broadcasting Corporation. Responsibilities include providing support to the National Sales Manager and regional managers, handling client enquiries, directing leads to the sales team, liaising with clients and internal stakeholders, processing purchase orders and vendor forms, managing communications (emails and telephone), assisting with trade marketing initiatives, maintaining client databases, coordinating travel and procurement via SAP, handling documentation and signatures, organizing meetings and events, using CRM and SAP for end-to-end sales processes, and contributing to quarterly data, budgets, and reports. Requires a relevant higher-education qualification (NQF level 6+) and 2-4 years of sales experience (media sales advantageous), strong communication, administration, relationship-building, and organizational skills, plus a proactive, team-oriented, resilient mindset.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant higher education qualification (Higher Certificate or National Certificate) at NQF Level 6 or above; and/or
- Additional accredited courses or certifications in Media, Digital Marketing, Sales, or other related fields at a minimum of NQF Level 6.
- 2-4 number of years of sales/ sales experience, (media sales environment advantageous).
- Knowledge and Skills: Computer literacy, governance prescripts, communication skills, customer service orientation, relationship building, attention to detail, problem solving, planning and organizing, ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
