Job Summary
Respond to artist studio needs, manage checklists and loans for solo and group exhibitions, and liaise with staff on inventory, shipping, and framing. Assist the Director with sending offers, obtaining documentation, managing sales, following up on invoices, and preparing insurance appraisals. Handle secondary market consignments, create client presentations, organize the Director's schedule and travel, and manage communication requests. Requires a BA or BSc, two years gallery experience, and superior writing skills. Full-time role at $60k hourly with overtime eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BSc
- at least two years related experience or the equivalent
- Superior writing skills

- 2-3 years in an assistant or administrative support role at a gallery
- Experience supporting senior leadership with calendar management and travel itinerary
- Detail-oriented workflow with experience in managing upwards
- Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize and anticipate needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-departmentally
- Passion for and knowledge of contemporary art
