Job Summary
Support the solar sales team by processing orders for PV panels, inverters, batteries, and storage; manage RFQs, prepare formal proposals, and maintain accurate CRM data. Lead end-to-end administrative process for sales orders, including creation and tracking of POs and SOs to ensure on-time fulfillment. Act as primary liaison between sales, purchasing, and operations to verify inventory, inspections, and shipping timelines. Manage onboarding of new accounts with thorough follow-through and detail tracking. Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding order statuses, tracking numbers, and logistics updates. Ensure all transactions adhere to Smith’s SOPs and trade requirements. Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving to identify potential bottlenecks; proficient Excel skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or two years in a sales support role
- Excellent Excel skills
