Job Summary
Sales Assistant to support the Store Manager with day-to-day in-store operations and deliver an inspiring customer experience. Responsibilities include retail sales and operation of Point-of-Sale devices, collecting, sorting and pricing donations, assisting in visual merchandising and store presentation, providing exceptional customer service, displaying stock in departments per policy, following OH&S procedures, and demonstrating TSA core values. Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, energy, interpersonal abilities, and are flexible to work weekends and across multiple local retail locations in the Vasse area. The role is a permanent part-time position (19 hours per week) at Salvos Stores in Vasse, WA, Australia, with emphasis on compassionate service and community impact.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in retail sales (not essential)
- Strong customer service skills
- Flexibly to work a rolling roster including weekends
- Preparedness to work across various locations in the retail area
