Job Summary
Manage leads from advertising, referrals, and personal contact to convert them into residents using professional selling skills. Assist the Sales Director with monthly Critical Success Factors to maintain a strong pipeline and build customer-focused relationships by advancing prospects through the sales process. Ensure outstanding service by greeting every prospect, maintaining solid product knowledge, and following organizational procedures for lead tracking. Collaborate with the team to execute marketing plans, coordinate events, and develop referral sources while representing the organization professionally at public functions. Facilitate the resident move-in process by coordinating assessments, managing readiness checklists, and ensuring all state-mandated paperwork is completed. Submit weekly sales results and comply with federal, state, and local laws.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of sales experience
- Sales experience within a senior living environment
- Expertise and knowledge of current best practices in successful upscale retirement housing sales and marketing techniques
- Knowledge of and ability to follow all company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of and ability to follow applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations
- Familiarity with and fluency in the language and service pillars of Starling
- Understanding of the principles of Starling, person directed care and successful aging philosophies
- Knowledge of and ability to follow the inherent core values of Support, Truthfulness, Accountability and Respect
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
- Ability to submit timely weekly sales results as requested
- Ability to understand competitive opportunities and threats and present strategic alternatives to combat these to the Sales Director
- Strong understanding of the senior care market
- Ability to identify referral sources through site specific research
- Ability to review and facilitate the Move-In Packet with the resident and/or family
- Ability to facilitate and coordinate the Resident Assessment (if applicable)
- Ability to oversee and manage the move-in process as outlined in the Resident Move-In and the Apartment Readiness checklists
- Ability to ensure all state mandated paperwork and forms are completed on or before the move-in date by the family and/or resident
Desired Qualifications
