Job Summary
Sales Assistant for NYC Alliance's Wholesale team responsible for supporting client relations, market preparation, and order management. Key duties include developing and nurturing relationships with clients and Buying Partners; preparing meeting materials and presentations; processing sales orders; conducting market research and competitor analysis; responding to customer inquiries; coordinating market planning and showroom logistics; tracking samples and maintaining showroom setups for seasonal markets. Requires strong written and verbal communication, excellent organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and familiarity with sales software (e.g., BlueCherry), basic retail math and sales reporting, and a proactive, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with sales software is beneficial ex: BlueCherry
- Basic understanding of retail math and sales reporting
