Sales Assistant Casual (Furniture & Homewares)

Job Summary
Retail casual Sales Assistant role at Eva Carlton House. You will provide exceptional customer service, assist customers through their purchasing journey, perform stock checks, advise on colour/material and delivery timeframes, handle post-purchase queries with other departments, and undertake administration tasks (emailing customers, answering/transferring calls, processing orders in person and over the phone). You’ll help implement in-store campaigns, promotions and product displays, ensure the showroom remains presentable, and keep shared and back-of-house spaces tidy. Proficiency with POS software (Shopify a plus) and G-Suite apps (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) is advantageous. Weekend and public holiday availability is required; experience in both online and in-store channels is a nice-to-have. The role is anchored in Eva’s first retail experience, reporting to the Showroom Manager, with a focus on delivering thoughtful customer experiences and achieving sales KPI in a fast-paced direct-to-consumer setting.
