Job Summary
Sales Area Manager responsible for managing direct and indirect sales within the assigned Italian territory (Cesena/Forli-Cesena) with targets, budgeting, pricing, dealer development, and coordination with Sales Management. Responsibilities include developing target markets, conducting competitive analysis, maintaining customer relationships, identifying new customers and dealers, monitoring invoices and payments, defining credit limits, planning product range and pricing policies, supporting trade fairs, and preparing travel reports. Requirements include a university degree (technical degree a plus), 5+ years in industrial machinery/earthmoving sales, knowledge of contracts and international payments, willingness to travel, fluent English, MS Office proficiency, strong listening/communication, and problem-solving skills. Salary range €45,000–€65,000 per year (converted to USD: 49,500–71,500).
Required Qualifications
- University degree (a technical degree is a plus)
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the industrial machinery and/or earthmoving equipment sector
- Knowledge of commercial contracts and common international payment methods is preferred
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
- Good command of the English language
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Strong contextual analysis and problem‐solving abilities
