Job Summary
Develop and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, restaurant operators, and store personnel to increase same-store food sales and profitability. Manage an assigned territory by identifying new customer opportunities, conducting sales presentations, and analyzing data to develop effective strategies. Provide ongoing business guidance, implement action plans for growth objectives, and proactively address at-risk accounts to prevent attrition. Introduce new products, support marketing initiatives, and train staff on product knowledge and operating standards. Monitor territory performance, deliver accurate reporting to leadership, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues. Ensure compliance with franchise agreements and regulatory standards while adhering to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience preferred
- 3–5 years of food industry, operations, sales, or related field experience strongly preferred
- Food distribution sales experience and/or restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred
- Franchise operations experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and understand business documents, product information, operating instructions, and product labels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM systems, databases, sales reporting platforms, or similar business technology
- Familiarity with web-based presentation and collaboration tools preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret sales data and identify business opportunities
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and analyze financial and sales information
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively as part of a team
