Job Summary
Sales & Applications Engineer II provides advanced technical support and sales expertise with strong customer interaction. Responsibilities include responding to inbound calls and emails with technically accurate information, coordinating with Customer Service, Regional/Territory Sales Managers, and independent reps to achieve annual sales goals, maintaining in-depth product knowledge, preparing quotations and assisting with large or complex orders, reading engineering specifications/drawings to recommend products, supporting submittal packages and installation diagrams, providing direct support for high-profile projects and technical service issues, collaborating with Product Management to develop technical documentation and sales materials, and coaching EITs and junior engineers while participating in customer trainings and trade shows.
Required Qualifications
- A four-year degree in an engineering discipline is preferred; alternatively, a two-year technical degree combined with 4+ years of related experience may be considered.
