Job Summary
Interface with operations, service, and engineering teams to address test application issues, conducting time on a test or service bench as required. Develop documentation including application notes, white papers, FAQs, and technical articles while engaging with the manufacturing facility to define and apply new test methodologies using latest system architecture. Conduct product demos in customer facilities or online, identifying best test practices for power conversion devices across markets including solar, EV, battery, and LED. Some local travel is required (25%). This role supports pre-sales hardware and software applications for Chroma's programmable AC Power Source and DC Power Supplies instruments.
Required Qualifications
- Interface with operations, service, and engineering teams to address test application issues
- Develop documentation including application notes, white papers, FAQ's and technical articles
- Engage with manufacturing facility to define and apply new test methodologies using latest system architecture
- Conduct product demos in customer facilities or online
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Some local travel is required (25%)
- BSEE with focus in Power Electronics with minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role
- MSEE or PhD with a focus in Power Electronics with minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience on various ATE platforms
- Prior knowledge of Power Testing instrumentation
- Proven track record of the ability to identify and communicate turnkey solutions
- Knowledge of LabView
- Experience with automated test software
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have experience on various ATE platforms and prior knowledge of Power Testing instrumentation

- Prior MATLAB experience is highly preferred
