Job Summary
Sales & Marketing Representative in Gaborone, Botswana responsible for promoting print and digital product ranges to targeted schools, TVET colleges, booksellers, and education officials; achieving or exceeding turnover and sales targets; maintaining adoptions and identifying new opportunities; building relationships with key decision-makers using needs-based selling; representing the company at exhibitions and industry events; monitoring competitor activity and providing market intelligence; ensuring timely CRM updates and reporting; requires a Degree or Diploma in Commerce or Education (preferred) and a minimum of 5 years’ sales experience; travel nationally, with proficiency in MS Office and CRM, and a valid Code 8 driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar sales role
- Degree or Diploma in Commerce or Education (preferred)
- Experience engaging with teachers, principals, education officials or other key decision-makers
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
- Valid driver’s license (Code 8) and willingness to travel nationally
