Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer questions about the store and merchandise, and recommend products based on guest needs. Manage sales by achieving personal sales-per-hour goals, tracking performance standards, and filling out the Sales Presentation Guide daily. Perform operational tasks including cashiering, opening and closing registers, handling cash deposits, and maintaining a clean, organized store. Assist with merchandising by displaying freight, preparing price markdowns, and ensuring sales floor sizing. Lead a product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results through the Performance Tracker. Provide weekly reports to leadership, complete required orientation modules, and maintain knowledge of Buckle's policies and loss prevention guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field of study
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom
