Job Summary
Sales and Events Coordinator responsible for post-sale planning and logistics for group bookings, meetings, and social events. Serves as liaison between client and hotel operations (catering, housekeeping) to ensure flawless event execution and maximum client satisfaction. Responsibilities include preparing event documentation, coordinating with sales, hotel departments, and customers; creating and distributing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes; identifying revenue opportunities through up-selling and enhancements; coordinating with field sales and customers throughout the event process; managing banquet and meeting space for assigned groups; advising sales staff on space and material feasibility; inputting data into systems to generate account history reports; and maintaining attendance, scheduling flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. The role requires strong English communication, physical stamina for event execution, teamwork, professional appearance, and familiarity with hotel reservations and Sales and Catering software.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to communicate in English
- Requires the ability to stand/walk for extended periods during event execution and occasionally lift/move up to 25-50 pounds

- Can communicate well with guests
- Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and calculator skills to prepare mathematical calculations without error
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in order to interact with vendors and department heads
- Hotel reservations & Sales and Catering software program knowledge is helpful
