Job Summary
In-person, in-home Sales and Design Consultant role focused on designing and selling cabinetry, closets, home offices, garages, and storage solutions. Responsibilities include measuring spaces, designing layouts with our CAD software, applying a consultative sales approach to meet monthly sales goals, telecommuting to customers’ homes for needs analysis, collaborating with installation teams to ensure project completion, pursuing referrals, and driving repeat business. Required skills include professional, assertive sales capabilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD/design software, and the ability to manage a portfolio of projects in a dynamic environment. Required Qualifications
- Interior design education, direct industry experience, or proven passion for home décor
- Professional and assertive, consultative sales skills
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft suite and experience working with laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices
- Proficiency with CAD or design software
- Ability to design and measure spaces using CAD software and meet monthly sales goals
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus
- Ability to telecommute to customers’ homes for needs analysis and design
- Team player with ability to manage multiple projects and client portfolios
