Job Summary
Deliver battery products to customers across the wider Hawkes Bay region while building strong relationships with new and existing clients. Process customer orders accurately, respond to enquiries to identify product solutions, and support sales growth through regular contact. Maintain safe work practices when handling and loading batteries, representing HCB professionally on the road. Follow a regular call plan to support branch sales activity and work closely with the team to ensure excellent service. This full-time Monday to Friday role offers competitive remuneration, ongoing training, and career development opportunities within the automotive trade sector.
Required Qualifications
- A full Clean New Zealand drivers licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Confidence dealing with customers face to face
- The ability to work independently while staying connected to the branch team
- A willingness to learn products, systems, and sales processes
- Good physical fitness
- Current legal right to work in New Zealand
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive, trade, delivery, warehousing, retail, or customer service experience
