Job Summary
Sales and Catering Manager responsible for prospecting catering business, developing sales action plans, managing a contact management system, negotiating contracts to meet business objectives, coordinating and participating in trade shows and sales events, completing banquet event orders, assisting with event setup and guest services, inputting special events, distributing promotional materials, and supporting the Director of Sales with reporting and trade show activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- Minimum of 1-3 years Sales experience required
- Hotel experience strongly preferred
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Various computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and POS systems
- Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
