Job Summary
Sell and grow the Australian market for a satellite 5G IoT operator. Lead GTM strategy, identify and close new business with Australian customers across sectors (Oil & Gas, Utilities, Maritime, Transport), build and manage a sales pipeline, develop market intelligence, and align sales initiatives with corporate goals. Requires 5+ years in L/S-Band satellite sales, strong prospecting and negotiation skills, experience across Australia, and a university degree (MBA advantageous).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in the sales and business development of L/S-Band based satellite solutions into key target M2M markets (Including, but not limited to: Oil & Gas, Utilities, Maritime, Transport)
- Must have developed new business across Australia
- Strategic Thinker with a Hunter Mentality and strong prospecting skills
- Strong professional sales and presentation skills
- Proven ability to negotiate
- Successful and quantifiable “new business” sales track record; experienced in working to and exceeding targets
- Ability to execute strategic initiatives and develop and close business autonomously and proactively (Self-motivate)
- Ability to design and implement a business development strategy aligned with overall corporate goals
- Ability to manage external account projects, while managing internal process and aligning key resources
- Strong written, communication and organizational skills
- University education within Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or other relevant area. Additional MBA is considered an advantage.
- Languages: English a must, an additional language of the region a plus.
