Job Summary
Hart House at the University of Toronto is seeking a Sales and Booking Coordinator to serve as the front-line contact for clients seeking space and catering, manage calendars, generate sales leads through promotion of event services, coordinate room bookings, and maintain professional client relationships. The role requires handling inbound inquiries, promoting venues and services, preparing reports, and touring bookable spaces. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience and at least three years of calendar management, sales coordination, and customer service experience, with hands-on experience using CRM systems (Salesforce) and EMS or similar scheduling software. Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time with an in-person presence on campus in Toronto and occasional overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent education and experience
- Minimum three years of experience in calendar management, sales coordination, and customer service roles
- Experience supporting teams in achieving sales targets, including market research and preparation of sales materials
- Experience in a client-facing role, serving as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to manage client interactions and sales activities
- Experience working with booking or scheduling software (e.g., EMS or similar platforms)
