Job Summary

Develop strategies to increase sales growth opportunities based on analysis of market conditions, customer needs, and company manufacturing capacity. Monitor competitors and perform benchmarking analysis while conducting global market research using industry, customer, and company data. Prepare regular reports including cost analyses, comparative data, and major segment trends, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Track economic and market trends affecting business conditions and assist in developing pricing strategies based on in-depth product knowledge. Partner with engineering groups to develop internal metric reports and provide recommendations for enhancing existing data and reporting tools. Works an 8-hour day M-F with occasional overtime; salary range $83,000-$118,000. Requires Bachelor's degree in engineering, Japanese language proficiency, and valid passport for international travel. Located in Vancouver, Washington.

Required Qualifications

  • Business level Japanese-both verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or related field
  • Knowledgeable of various methods and techniques of statistical analysis
  • Experience and confidence communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences both internally and outside of the organization
  • Solid MS Office product experience is required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Able to work in high intensity and demanding environment with strong commitment to customer service
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Must maintain professional presence and positive attitude with both external customers and co-workers
  • Must be able to obtain a valid passport and travel (domestic and international) for direct customer interface
  • Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and do not require sponsorship for work authorization for hire or for continued employment

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical product knowledge relating to silicon wafer manufacturing and semiconductor industry segments
  • Experience working in a large in a large volume process manufacturing environment
