Job Summary
Sales Agronomist and Custom Applicator for a cooperative agronomy operation. Responsibilities include product recommendations, soil testing, chemical and fertilizer applications, and occasional equipment maintenance/warehouse support. Must be able to operate agricultural equipment, drive commercially, and meet licensing requirements (Chemical Applicator license, CDL or willingness to obtain). Ability to work outdoors in all conditions, lift up to 100 lbs, and work extended hours during peak season. Emphasis on safety, reliability, and customer-focused service in a family-oriented, community-driven cooperative environment.
Required Qualifications
- A driving record acceptable for commercial liability insurance
- Commercial Chemical Applicator’s License or willingness to obtain
- Valid CDL or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions with extended work hours in peak season
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
