Job Summary
Residential roofing Sales Advisor responsible for delivering in-person sales pitches to homeowners and businesses, using drone-based damage assessments to guide repair/replacement decisions and navigate insurance claims. Role involves documenting sales activities, maintaining an up-to-date calendar, attending meetings, building rapport with customers, training other sales reps, handling escalated customer service issues, and meeting/exceeding sales targets. Requires 2+ years roofing sales (insurance or retail), willingness to canvass/door-knock, strong communication, travel ability with a valid driver's license, objection handling, familiarity with building codes, and proficiency with tablets and Microsoft Office; high school diploma or equivalent required; roofing installation certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of sales experience in roofing (insurance or retail)
- Must be willing to do canvassing, door-to-door sales
- Excellent communication skills; good listener
- Ability to travel; must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to overcome objections and perform within a short sales cycle
- Ability to present sales pitch in a professional manner
- Familiarity with building codes, laws, and regulations
- Familiarity with tablets, Apple iPads (iPadOS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Roofing installation certification preferred
