Job Summary
Sales Advisor responsible for delivering fast, friendly customer service, explaining benefits of products and services, promoting promotions, handling warranties and service agreements, processing sales transactions, and supporting store operations. Must assist with opening/closing tasks, inventory, merchandising, and training new employees. Requires ability to operate automatic and manual transmissions, maintain professional communication with customers, and adhere to company policies and PPE regulations; willingness to work holidays and weekends and handle hazardous materials as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Sales abilities
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and percentages and making change
- Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed
- Ability to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to comply with PPE regulations
- Vision, hearing, speech, and the ability to detect odors
- Ability to stand for up to nine hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to communicate in English
- Legal authorization to work in the United States of America
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One year or more of experience in an automotive shop environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented work
