Sales Account Manager - Waste Management Services

Job Summary
Develop and execute territory sales plans for waste management services by building profitable, long-term, value-based relationships with accounts. Prospect for new business through sales calls, maintain an updated sales pipeline, and focus on customer retention and satisfaction. Provide customer technical support and consultative services, set pricing and service levels, coordinate quotations with local branches, and collaborate with local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure inventory and customer satisfaction. Travel within the assigned territory as needed and demonstrate a commitment to safety while engaging with customers and internal teams. The role is home-based and based out of Dublin, OH, with a strong emphasis on relationship-building, territory growth, and cross-functional coordination.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a sales position with a proven track record of success in building relationships and achieving sales targets
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry preferred but not required
- Broad knowledge of waste management services involving chemical handling, recycling, reuse and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong, successful business relationships with customers as well as internal teammates
- Strong business sense and understanding of the relationship between manufacturers, distributors and end-users
- Excellent problem solving and consultative selling skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory
