Job Summary
Account Manager responsible for driving sales revenue by targeting, qualifying, and closing new client relationships within Aztec’s adult education solutions portfolio. You will manage complex sales opportunities, coordinate comprehensive proposals in response to client RFPs, and maintain a robust sales pipeline while engaging cross-functional SMEs to position and sell both software and print learning solutions. The role requires effective consultation with stakeholders across organizations, regional and national travel (20-40%), and proficiency in CRM-driven activity tracking and demand-generation strategies. Strong prospecting, presentation, and relationship-building skills are essential to secure long-term client acquisition and expand revenue, with a focus on SAAS/educational technology solutions and experience engaging at C-level and teacher levels.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Five or more years of outside sales experience with history of success
- Demonstrated success in developing innovative business building programs, making presentations/recommendations, and gaining alignment
- Experience selling training solutions and services preferred
- Experience in SAAS and Educational Technology sales is a plus
- Experience in community college, correctional, or workforce solutions areas preferred
- Experience working with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) preferred
