Job Summary
Sales Account Manager for the GVH nuclear portfolio in Japan, driving opportunity development and order closure across utilities and partners, coordinating with Deal Structuring and Nuclear Services teams to develop customer-specific strategies, negotiating multi-year contracts, and maintaining high-level relationships with executives. Responsibilities include formulating service proposal strategies, establishing pricing, risk mitigation for complex contracts, engaging with senior executives and field teams, delivering proposals and negotiations, achieving sales targets, maintaining standard terms, contributing to marketing/commercial strategies, and supporting CRM deployment. Required to travel to customer facilities in Japan up to 50% during negotiation cycles, with occasional travel to the US; minimum education of a Bachelor's degree, and 10+ years of nuclear industry sales experience; strong communication in Japanese and English, leadership and cross-functional negotiation skills; willingness and eligibility to work in Japan and the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- At least 10 years of sales experience in the nuclear industry with a proven record on orders conversion and pipeline management
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer facilities including HQ offices and plant site offices across Japan on a regular monthly rhythm and up to 50% of the time during key negotiation cycles
- Location in Tokyo, Japan with travel to GVH Headquarters in Wilmington NC USA or other global locations on an occasional basis
- Eligibility: GVH will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Japan and the United States for this opening
