Job Summary
Sales Account Manager for GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear in Japan. Owns commercial sales and relationship management, develops opportunity strategies, negotiates complex multi-year contracts, and coordinates with internal teams (Deal Structuring, Nuclear Services, Global Nuclear Fuels) to tailor solutions for seven BWR customers. Responsible for presenting proposals and contracts, maintaining pricing strategies, achieving sales targets, updating standard terms to simplify orders, and contributing to marketing and commercial strategies. Builds long-term relationships with senior executives and field teams, delivers strategic guidance, and tracks market trends to inform growth. Role based in Tokyo, with travel to customer facilities and occasional travel to global locations; relocation support provided; requires bachelor’s degree, 10+ years nuclear sales experience, willingness to travel up to 50% and ability to work across Japan; requires legal work authorization in Japan and the US and strong Japanese/English communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- At least 10 years of sales experience in the nuclear industry with a proven record on orders conversion and pipeline management
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer facilities including HQ offices and plant site offices across Japan on a regular monthly rhythm and up to 50% of the time during key negotiation cycles
- Eligibility to work in Japan and the United States
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; excellent communication skills in Japanese and English
