Sales Account Manager

Job Summary
Engage decision makers via telephone and on-site visits to generate new sales by articulating pharmacy solutions benefits. Build and maintain strong customer relationships while negotiating contracts and managing new customer implementations. Plan and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals to management, ensuring all deliverables meet proposed timelines. Attend trade shows and other sales activities, with extensive travel required. Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and adhere to state and federal pharmacy industry standards. Requires five to ten years of sales experience, preferably in pharmacy or healthcare, and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications

- Five (5) to ten (10) years of successful and progressive sales experience preferably in a pharmacy and/or healthcare setting
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field
- Must possess required skills and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed
- Excellent communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter and people-person
- Maintaining an established work schedule
- Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy
- Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Effectively demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and continually strives to improve quality standards
- Knowledgeable and compliant with current company policies and procedures and state and federal regulations
- Work requires knowledge of the pharmacy industry, Medicaid, CMS and other state/federal regulations
- Basic computer skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 40 pounds
- Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling
- Work is performed in a standard office environment
- Must have reliable transportation
